چکیده :

In the dynamic field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) education, the rapid adoption of digital technologies has been pivotal in reshaping teaching methodologies and enhancing learning experiences. This article examines the profound influence of technological integration within diverse educational settings, from middle schools to higher education institutions. It explores the dual facets of digital tools: their ability to facilitate unprecedented learning opportunities and the challenges they present, such as the digital divide and the necessity for substantial teacher training. The study uses a comprehensive framework to investigate how technology affects student engagement, learning processes, and academic outcomes. Utilizing empirical research, it identifies both the enhancements in student interaction facilitated by technological tools and the obstacles to effective integration, such as equity in access and the adequacy of existing infrastructure. The findings aim to inform strategic educational practices and policy formulations, emphasizing the nuanced roles of technology in EFL and ESL settings. The study's insights contribute to a balanced discourse on the potential and limitations of educational technologies, guiding future integrations to maximize benefits for diverse learner demographics.
